European stainless steel surcharges increase

European stainless steel surcharges have increased for the second month in a row following continued growth in the Nickel price on the LME.

The figures where announced by Outokumpu the Finish stainless steel producer this week, following summer shutdowns there is stronger growth forcasts for Q4 and into 2011 ,with expected demand for Nickel the LME price is expected to remain strong.

A snapshot of the surcharges announced today are listed below:-

1.4301 (304) 1714 EUR / 1411 GBP

1.4404 (316) 2715 EUR / 2235 GBP

1.4016 (430) 486 EUR / 400 GBP
