Perchcourt stainless in administration
UK stainless tube distributor Perchcourt based in the West Midlands have gone into administration. The Administrators PKF where appointed on the 22nd of June 2009. Perchcourt have been in business for over 20 years , they specialised in the supply of stainless steel tubes and sections throughout the UK. It is not clear if high priced stock , fall in consumer demand along with bad debts have caused this or a combination of all three. This is a further a blow to the stainless steel sector which has had a very tough time for the last 6 months, with prices slowly starting to rise it is hoped the market is on the verge of recovery. This follows several other companies including Allied, Lockley,Lazenbys added to cut backs and redundancies from high profile companies like Outokumpu and Corus in the UK.
