Stainless Steel surcharges to increase
Surcharges for February delivery in Europe are expected to rise following recent commodity gains. Nickel has been stronger since mid December and allthough the price slipped back from highs around $19,000 per tonne on the LME it remains stronger. Even stronger gains for Molybdenum look set to drive moly bearing grades typically 316 even higher with increases expected to be around the 200 Euro mark. this comes on the back of general growing demand and more end user confidence.
