Surcharges surge ahead for March stainless steel deliveries
Outokumpu the Finish based stainless steel supplier have confirmed surcharges for delivery of stainless steel in March 2010. The increases where widely expected throughout the industry with commodities rising with nickel surging above $20,000 per tonne on the LME. The biggest rise is for grade 316/1.4404 which has risen over 172 Euro per tonne.
Prices where forecast here to bounce back in 2010.
